Join artist Thomas Key for an exciting weekend workshop that will focus on achieving a better likeness from both a live model and from reference material provided by the students. Thomas will be demonstrating techniques from the live model on Saturday, afterwhich, students will have the opportunity to draw on their own with the instructor’s assistance. On Sunday, students will bring in their own reference photos from home of someone they would like to draw. Thomas will guide each student in developing their individual pieces with care and consideration given to the likeness, composition, and overall impact of the finished work. The workshop is open to all levels, but some prior drawing experience would be helpful.
